The licensing of AirGuns has not been implemented yet. It's only been put up for public consultation.

What do we say or answer to this? The law will not be implemented for some time yet. When it does, get it licenced!

I have Tandum Air Cartridge Air Guns

 

Which was put on License back in 2004

 

The number of Shooters that deeply regret they got rid / sold theres

As the License often opened up the possiblities of other Licensed Guns

 

But as stated earlier UK look at possible Air Gun Licensing

 

But found that once a Air Gun is in circulation if near impossible

to get it's owner to Register and License it

 

Plus the costs of implication areway out of either Scotland or UK's possible limited budgets

If you have a valid reason for having your rifle in your possesion in a public place,the police cant take your rifle form you unless its to test its power levels 12lb max in the uk or you break a law.(valid reason going to your permmition /hunting grounds,rfd ,gun club etc).If you have it in a public place for no valid reason you should not have a rifle in the first place as it gives all air gun owners a bad press & adds full to the already blazing proverbial inferno.Im not having a pop no pun intended just a bit off friendly advice

still the same a lot of fannies on here i have had my gun for 8 years or so and not had to have permit for it wont b hard to get some though was just wanting to know if i take it out would i loss it but thanks for info guys some help cheers
