boyo 1,398 Posted December 9, 2012 Report Share Posted December 9, 2012 had this book in my collection since it came out a few years ago cracking book by one of the best ever trainers who got into greyhounds from coursing lurchers and matching them .really good insight into the feeding and training of greyhounds which is easily adapted to suit lurchers also tips on injuries and remedies great little book for anyone looking for late xmas prezzie well worth the price and would imagine plenty about secondhand on e bay . zigzag dan 784 Posted December 9, 2012 Report Share Posted December 9, 2012 i was talking to him at Hall Green one night in the kennels after his Derby winner Farloe Verdict had been beat at 1/3 after missing the break from trap 3 and got smashed up on 3 or 4 times in the race , he hadnt wanted to run her but Hall Green had asked him to as it was on Sky sports , a bloke shouted to him "" Didnt run well tonight did she Charlie " ? , to which he replied " Neithor would you if i kicked you in the bollocks on every bend , now piss off !
