your right there charts there certainly wasnt any rollers outside the pub at the eoecc lol. just honest hard working dog men and women enjoying their sport and watching their dogs do what they had been bred to do.mind you you only had to go on the bank end at the waterloo cup to see the same 1000s of working class people standing out in the cold and wet to watch a great days feildsport and dogs doing what they have been bred to do it never ceases to amaze me how a few noisy antis can determine what we can and cant do personally i wouldnt piss on them if they were on fire .

LOL !! My brother and I were in the "posh" enclosure for the 1st day of the final Waterloo; then on the bank and with the lads for the next two days ! I know which I prefered !! The only accomadation we could get was in the middle of Liverpool, so we missed out on the craic at the night time !!

Wish i had been privledged enought to attend meets,matches cups etc..

 

Born to late and the ban fininshed any chance of it now...

 

I'm the exact same mate, managed to get to the last 2 Waterloo cups which was great but the real deal would have been to run matches/comps on the fens with my own dogs against some of the big names, hopefully the ban gets overturned and I can test my dogs at the time against some of the best in the country

in them days we never braged about our dogs we never had nothing to prove we was happy with what our dogs could do and i have done derbyshire and the fens and it takes a good dog to catch big ears up derbyshire and it not all about big land seen some good dogs look stupid up derbyshire if you have been up there you will know what i am talking about

My dogs were nearly always knocked out in the first or 2nd round of the doubles but it got them fit at a time When I did not have 1 farm to my name . They was excellent days before the ban .no bragging , no short slips , no mobile phones going off . Just a thoroughly good day out with like minded people. And there was some excellent dogs .
