Jamie93 57
I went out ferreting Sunday and cam across a small 5 hole set. The holes barely looked big enough for rabbits and were covered in rabbit sh!t. Hob in 5 minutes of no rumbling but no show meant he was on something. Sure enough a full grown fox bolted in the net. Anyone else had this? Jamie Quote Link to post
Bunny Boiler 177
Once dug a fox in a small two hole earth that we spooked down when out ferreting. Did you slap it one or did it run off with your net? Atb BB Quote Link to post
Bunny Boiler 177
I've also seen a big fat ginger tabby cat bolted into a long net. Was ferreting hedgerows with a few lads off here and the dogs were marking the hedge because it kept moving down the hedge, then it ran out straight into the long net. Tangle up a treat! Jamie93 57
I was so shocked I froze mid run. I wish I had gave it a whack now as that brush would be hangin on my wall now. But he kicked the net off his head after a bit off a struggle. Quote Link to post

Sirius 1,391
If you can lift a net and let the fecker bolt, it is often best, ..coz,. if he turns back into the bury, it can get emotional That's exactly what happened to myself and hedgesteeper, I headed off charlie before he hit a longnet and he turned brush and when back to ground, we had had best part of a dozen rabbits out of a big old place we were working, so we gave him best and lifted the stinkers and moved on Edited November 27, 2012 by Sirius Quote Link to post
