big napper 3,559
it is mate, born in scotland, live in leeds,, there is something wrong with it now as it happens, i took it for repaire to the gun shop a few days ago, was told it was a good gun before things went wrong with it, should be sound when it comes back i hope Quote Link to post
Lewis Ste 245
The only problem is the seals, if you learn how to take them apart a change them you should be sound. I had one and was a good gun while I had it the only problem I had was the o ring on the buddy bottle needed changing because the teeth chewed it up as I was screwing the bottle on and off all te time Quote Link to post
big napper 3,559
yes pal the o rings were bad when i got it so i changed them, but it is firering very weak and it is very hard to cock it so rather than messaround with it i took it to the shop,,,but ime looking forward to getting it back,,, so you recon they are decent rifles then, Quote Link to post
Lewis Ste 245
The hard cocking may of been the pellet size but mine wasn't to bad so I swapped it for a BSA ultra m/s before anything happened because I wouldn't of been able to afford to fix it Quote Link to post
Wxm 1,638
The hard cocking may of been the pellet size but mine wasn't to bad so I swapped it for a BSA ultra m/s before anything happened because I wouldn't of been able to afford to fix it **SNAP** thats what i did, outed mine before anything happened to it, lot of bad comments about the mk1 any way not too sure on the mk 2 ect Quote Link to post
big napper 3,559
i dont know if its mk1 or mk2 and the trouble with the cocking was pulling it back, but like i say its in the gun shop now so they will hopefully get it all sorted, cheers for that anyway lads Quote Link to post
Lewis Ste 245
Which cocking lever has it got? Bolt or the one you pull straight back? Quote Link to post
big napper 3,559
yes pal its the one you pull straight back, but it wouldnt pull all the way back and it was realy stiff Quote Link to post
Lewis Ste 245
Mine wasn't the easiest thing to pull back but wasn't that bad? Quote Link to post
j j m 6,483
as has been said its the seals you have probs with ,but also the rubber on the magazines go sloppy and this causes jamming thats why the early ones got that much bad press Quote Link to post
garfield 23
Also known as the "not so sweet 16" the cocking bolts a pig at the best of times and the accuracy can be dire if you get the pellet choice wrong, but what was originally a paintball gun molested into an airgun can be made into a good little rifle with the right amount of tuning and cash ie,different valve and barrel. as you might tell i've had one and it didnt last long in my ownership Quote Link to post
