Whats the Best LED Gun light out

Recommended Posts

Please dont take this the wrong way

But you just spent £150 on something that you could have paid a tenner for on Ebay? :wallbash:

Checkout the Ultrafire Cree torches. Why would you need an 800meter beam for airgun shooting? (unless of course you were sniping in Afghanistan with a Barrat .50 cal).

My Ultrafire Cree LED puts out a good beam well over a hundred yards for spotting the 'Jewels'. And thats with the RED Cree!

The White light version at 300 lumens can light up the trees up the hills well over half a mile away

I really think you should have asked for 'opinions' and advice before you got suckered in with the advertising hype  But then it's amazing how many of these "I've just purchased 'such and such' what do you guy's think?" threads.

You are the first person I have heard mention this lamp, so I'm hoping you are going to let us all know if the 'hype' is fact or is merely the truth extruded

Thanks Tony I've been looking at the reviews for them for a while now and there supposed to be the best with the red filter element for distance rather than poor distance with a red filter on one of the other ones. The only reason I want a Led lamp is cause Ive had a deben tracer max in the past and there to much hassle and weight and Ive got a hw100t now and are weighty as it is Ive just brought a A&M cylinder to keep the weight down.

Hi Elliott,

Just do a search on Ebay for "UltraFire" Cree Torches in the Sporting Goods section

They are superb lamps, I use a 300 lumen one that I got with a mount and both remote pressure switch and standard end cap switch (screw in the one that you want) I paid about 16£ and it came with rechargable batteries and a charger  Later on I purchased a set of 4 coloured lenses/filters and I know have a torch with the red Cree LED and I also have a 5watt Infra Red cree led they are all interchangable :boogy:

hi mate i bought a 1600 lumen cree off ebay £18.99 its a decent torch but a bit bulky to mount onto your scope, had a look on loads of sites & some are really expensive some cheap. i ended up buying this kit, http://www.ledfiretorches.co.uk/olight-m20s-warrior-1391.html i think its a really good torch and not too pricey, also bought the red filter from the same site.
