Acuspell 329
Damn thats a shame and they only just recently moved to new premises. Maybe I wont be rushing out and buying a rapid just yet then. That is half the problem. Email direct from Matin Rutherford, the owner of Theoben who is in the USA (but he hasn't got citizenship yet an dhis visa runs out soon!) The news is sadly true; the company has been struggling for some time and never recovered from the move into its newer premises along with the still global economic situation. Bit more to it than that. USA side taking out more than the company was making......Rapid Air Weapons is the USA arm. Nice looking target style rifles. Quote Link to post

Acuspell 329
I don't think this is the last we shall hear of the Theoben name somehow. Yes this company has been wound up, that is not the same thing as disappearing. The drawings and knowledge are still out there. I am sure there will be some custom rifle makers queing up for parts at the sale! Quote Link to post
