foxfan 479
Albert sums it up for me A knowledge of the existence of something we cannot penetrate, of the manifestations of the profoundest reason and the most radiant beauty - it is this knowledge and this emotion that constitute the truly religious attitude; in this sense, and in this alone, I am a deeply religious man. (Albert Einstein) I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it. (Albert Einstein, 1954) I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with the fates and actions of human beings. (Albert Einstein) Christian values preserve nature's (gods) harmony. imho.

stewie 3,387
I've never said I'm obsessed with Liverpool tho and anyway I no there real as I see them on the telly lol so your a regular church goer then?? No of course not the last time i was in church was my daughters wedding a few months ago....before that probably a few years................but then who says you have to walk into an old brick building to make a connection with God.................you dont have to go to Anfield to feel like a Liverpool fan do you ?..................and come on you do come across like an obssessed Liverpool fan.................its ok you can admit it we,re all Gods children but i do go to anfield when i can, not easy tho when you support a club with a massive following!!! but this aint about football its about "god" so would you say we come from nowhere when god created humans or would you say that darwin fella with that theory of evolution is correct..... as for gods children, this fella aint me old man........ scothunter 12,609
I have and it seems very plausible to me, and to most rational thinkers. Well put it this way it's a damn sight more believable than the guff written in that book,
