How do i hunt moles??

My old man has s few moles in his garden. How do we get them to come out so my s200 can move them on to a better place?

Is there a certain time of day to do it?

Any info welcomed and thanks in advance.

I see. Thanks for the heads up. Problem with traps is that you can't keep the dogs out if the garden. All night/day. Wasn't sure if you could just wait them out at dusk or something.

I've watched mole hills appear in front of me when I've been sniping over warrens, but I've never actually seen a mole come above ground.

The mole traps sit below ground so only the handles are above ground and I dont think they can be triggered from above ground by an animal. I had moles decimate the garden lawn one spring/summer we had to call in the council Pest Controller in the end at first he put traps down and he said the cat and dog would be fine.

Eventually after a week he decided to use the poisons.

if your worried about your dogs digging them up cover them with a plant pot or two...

put stones on top of the trap site so they cant move them off to dig i catch alot of moles in people gardens and stones are used alot to cover up or as said above use a plant pot one with some weight init atb p.s shooting one is very unrealistic as phantom says hes never seen one appear when forming a mound and i trap them for a living and i havent either.
