how much to tune a 97k?

Recommended Posts

Yeah that's right Davy, spot on buddy .

Tony charges £60 for the tune if you take the rifle to him yourself and £15 extra if you want the rifle sending back to you via post, £75 all in  or £60 if you pick it up yourself again.

Its around £120 for the stage 2 tune but to be honest the stage 1 tune is enough and the difference from standard to stage 1 tuned is awesome as others that have had it done will no doubt agree with me.

A stage 1 tuned springer that Tony as worked on will match a high grade and expensive PCP if the shooter does his bit correctly easily.

Personally if you wanted to give the rifle something back for the service it as given to you in the past I would send it to Tony Wall for a stage 1 tune mate. Ive had about 4 or 5 of my springers in the past stage 1 tuned from him so that says it all.

Have a look at this mate to see what you would get done for your money.

I will also say now that Sandwell Field Sports as got the best customer services of ANY shop that i have ever visited or had dealing with in the past 26 years of shooting air rifles.

I'm not on a % of what work I manage to get Tony via this forum and am only giving you the best advice I can.

That's not a 'tune', mate, it's a basic service and if you put moly grease at the front end of the piston it'll get in to the compression chamber and diesel like feck.

Agreed! There is alot more to a tune than that. Polishing parts adding custom parts to name just a few.
