irishnut 297
think they were maybe afraid of the home team cheating / terrible referee decisions shown in some of the present games. eg ogogo boxing bout, he was beat fair and square, but somehow won on points. i'm loving the olympics, but cheating has no place in sport. For every bit of luck that go,s for you theres 3 bits that go against you.............and we,ve had our share of bad luck in sport...........think " cheating " is a bit strong though. Are you kidding , your thinkin The World Cup wasnt awarded for fear off Cheating by Referee's .... Though i think you may have got things mixed up ... The Only Cheating was carried out by FIFA , Taking back handers and Blatter being Exposed as CORRUPT by British Press didnt help as your not Allowed to Question the LITTLE TOAD , as i said after watching the Olympic's unfold certain people will be Questioning there Decision to take the World Cup To the DESERT , THERE LOSS !! Absolutely right...............must admit as ive watched stadiums built and the temperature rise in general down here over the last few years as regards the Olympics i was fearful it would be a bit of a wash out what with folk saying its just for London..............but i think its been brilliant theres accents round these parts from all over Britain at the moment and its a great feeling, the immigrants are quietly hiding away while true British people engage in a great tradition thats brought the nation together..........sport.................if its done that for the Olympics think what it could of done for our national sport of football !! asanley 1,009
I,v got to admit ,I was a bit cynical about the games and thought I,d be an uninterested onlooker but some of the inspirational stories and great performances , not just by GB athletes ,has drawn me in and got me involved in all the excitment .
