shotforthepot 4
If like me you enjoy the countryside/nature as well as the shooting, I'd like to recommend this new book by Chris Yates to you. I'm 5 chapters in and am finding it a fabulous read. Anybody else like to recommend any titles about adventures in the countryside? Only I don't think it will take me long to read this book.....I can't put it down at nights.lol

Simoman 110
Yes I read all of Mike Tomkies books back in the 's/90's, mainly based in the Scottish Highlands, with a bit in Canada and one book set in rural Spain. Also try the Highland year by Lea McNally.............

shotforthepot 4
Another good read is my side of the mountain by "jean Craighead George" the adventures of a young lad who sets off from New York to find his Grandfather's farm and is forced to survive in the rough. Beats Shades of Grey hands down.lol
