It was Malt and as you could imagine it was my pride and joy with it being my first motor..it did not die there though..the engine had just been rebored to a 1400cc so i decided to by another fiesta with a knackered engine..and transfer everything off the ghia onto the new shell it took me a while but i got there in the end..it never drove the same after that though with it being a different shell.. :cray: .

I think I had them on my capri 2.0s too.. :hmm: Mate of mine had an immaculate 1.6 laser in silver. It was a stunning car until he wedged it fast between both banks of a country lane!:thumbs:

I passed in February 1992 and my first car was a montego 1.6l, it cost me £1,250 for the car and £1,500 for insurance, it also caught fire on the way to drop it off after selling it...............

A mate of mine had a 3.0ltr white Brooklyn Capri year's ago with grey leather interior..fooking mint it was..

I loved the sound of the old v6 Essex engine, my mate had one. It was a battered old thing but it sounded amazing roaring away down the street..
