tegater 789
They should be ready to start mid Sept to Oct. Try them with experienced ferret if you can, but not essential. Like any animal it will take a little time for them to get going properly, and hunt all the tunnels. Good luck pal. Quote Link to post

Ferret mad Dave 65
How old are they ? Quote Link to post
The one 8,589
Thats the first question that should of been asked "How old are they ,then how mature are they ?. Once you think they are old ,big and mature enough then you can start them in a small burrow Quote Link to post
The Polecat 0
well it deepens on what age they are i would start hunting them around october november december time would be the best by the way put your ferrets out on the grass or what ever your ground is and throw down a couple of tubes for them to run up and down just to get them into what a borrows are like Quote Link to post
patterdalejoel 669
i had a jill that was almost a year old before she showed any interest, then one time it just clicked, she went down and she bottled up a rabbit and tore half its back off, but then her sister was straight down the first time out, so dont be too disheartened if they dont perform first time.
