Deffinitely Frankel i still take them out every evening for a couple of mile and a bit of play running of the lead..but nothing too strenuos..just enough to keep the edge on them.. ..i don't have a adult running dog at the moment apart from the retired one..but when he was in his prime i would up the game in the begining of August by mid september they would be doing 3 mile at 12mph beside the bike then 2 mile free running of the lead..that would get them sharp enough for running game ..and the final level of fitness would be acheived from running quary as i belive that is the only way they can reach there true fitness level..
