Aye from three weeks on start putting a bit of rabbit in the nest box ,they might no eat it at that age but they will be all over it sucking the meat juices

Usually from about 3 weeks they will be crawling over to Mum's food if she drags it back.

 

Give them some minced rabbit or chicken, or some dry ferret food softened with hot water. Little and often is the key, mine were gumming whole rabbits and pigeons at 4 weeks old.

This always worked for me as well.

Always let them nibble a finger from an early age they soon get to know it isnt food and stop.

All the years I kept ferrets I never had any that bit the hand that fed them!!

are eggs ok to be feeding an 8 week old jill ?

 

A eggs fine once or twice a week any more can cause baldness
