B.P.R 2,798
Anybody camouflage their rifle? I've seen a few who have done it and it looks super smart but don't suppose you need it for lamping out the motor Any pics? Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
I want to camo my hw97kt synthetic underlever for daytime shooting. but its a blag with it being an underlever. after paying for my holiday i might get it hydrographic dipped but it will be expensive. Quote Link to post
markyw 3
One of the guys on (dare I say it) another forum has used camo tape to good effect. Took a few hours to do well, but presuming this is a MUCH cheaper route than dipping and easier to reverse if needed. http://www.airgunforum.co.uk/forums/anything-airgun-related/134448-afternoon-off-work-roll-camo-tape-bored-man-walk-into-spare-room.html Might be an option to consider. tegater 789
Most animals spot movement, and and get spooked by sound, and not glint, I dont personally think there is a requirement to, and never have done. I sometimes wonder, do people do it a lot more now, because, all the shops sell the stuff to do it, and the internet is a platform to promote it. I, like a lot of folks on here come from an age, when the fieldcraft was more important, and then keeping your cool and shooting straight when you got there. I won't knock people for trying it, but, as always, each to their own. Quote Link to post

AR177 588
Here is my daystate Hydrographics dipped with bullrush camo ATB Adam Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
no camo in the 5 s`s shape, shine, shadow, silhouette, smell That is why the scrim net works so well, hides the shape, confuses the silhouette and shadow and stops the shine! Edited and it does not smell unless you insist on washing it and using bleeding Comfort! Edited July 7, 2012 by secretagentmole Quote Link to post
Flow 18
That looks excellent, like a factory finish. Quote Link to post
ghillies 209
I go for the scrim net approach, much easier to remove! just add a bit.. its open under neath, and attached to barrel scope and tight on the butt. Quote Link to post
