£1=£1 and always will. What you can buy with that £1 is the only thing that will change. With taxes, if a loaf of bread is £1 and 20% tax does that make the bread worth 80p? If it were 50% tax then is

A pound is worth . . . . Nothing, nada, zilch, zero, its accepted as a unit of currency because we all believe in its value in exchnge for goods and services but its actualy backed by nothing. If

Oh right so someone starts a blog and it's the truth. Tbh I find that about dunblane actually offensive. Is there nothing these tin foil brigades won't use to pedal there conspiracies.

oh you find an article about dunblane offence????

did you read the article? it was about a pedophile ring.... and how thomas hamilton who committed the terrible atrocity...

was a known pedophile and how top officials decided to make it about hand guns to cover it up...

but then again it was a long article to read and that of course would take concentration and intelligence to soak up what was being said...

i dont even know why i am trying to educate a sheep.... like you,,,, 1.jpg

It's a fecking daft question, it needs to be more specific. You can't just add up all the tax rates as a percentage because it means nothing and will give a daft number like 500%. You can't take your hypothetical pound, buy a quids worth a fuel with it and buy a quids worth of alcohol and then leave that same quid as inheritance for someone so you can't just add up all the taxes.

The amount you are taxed on any one unit of currency depends how you spend it and how you earnt it. If I was earning 20 quid a week I would pay f**k all income tax and then if I bought a bag of working dog food with it I would pay f**k all VAT. Conversely, if I inherited £1'000'000 and spent it all on petrol I would pay more tax than I care to calculate.

Like I said, it's a daft question....

Neither do I.

Yes I already know about his unhealthy interest in young boys , it was in the paper. Also a mate of mine Abd his brother went to one of his camp trips. And his actions were weird to say the least.

So it was hardly a cover up.

Oh And to keep posting blogs And links from loonie conspiracys does not make you intelligent. And because they don't buy into opus crack pot theories does not make them sheep. That's what annoys me about folk like you. If they don't agree with it, we're all idiots. Like I said before never seen a conspiracy theory yet that can't be picked apart and expose it for what it is. Unfounded bollocks!

Feck all this conspiracy stuff you should all be worried my combine taxation class.

I am puzzled by the question like others a pound is coin that is made of a metal.

the worth is in what the holder and taker agree either in labour eg working.

All we are doing is exchanging our pound for goods that we need.

its called supply and demand and commerce.

Gone on for years before the monetary system we barter.

Gold, diamonds and silver are utterly worthless unless used to build something (diamond drills etc). There is no intrinsic value to a gold ring, it's just a status thing for dicks imo. I know gold is stashed away to represent wealth, but it is no better than a pile of salt if salt were considered rare the same way aluminium was worth more than any other metal when it was discovered and all the toff dickheads showed off their aluminium jewels and cutlery

What is something worth? Whatever someone is willing to pay and that is the end of it so no-one is making any sense.
