im just pondering on locators, i have a mk1 with the micro collars, wondering wether to buy new mk3m? what yall think> cheers DTO

I wouldn't be with out my mk3 but that's just me I never got on with the mk1

got both here allways use the mk3 now very accurate miss the sound of the old knocker box but like everything you have to move with the times use it the odd time in small ground sets

Have owned and used both and have personaly found the mk 3 to be far superior to the mk 1

mk 3 when you get used to it is spot on allways been accurate for me. have had one faulty collar though but was replaced under warranty so no issues.

If your mk1 works why bother ,your going to have to swap over sometime as mk1 spares are getting harder and harder to source but untill then im hoping my mk1's see me out or another producer turns up

bought mk3 with magnetic collar yesterday-driving round looking for batterys for collar-like f*****g rocking horse shit-lol-i have mk1-can not fault it-hopefully i will find the batts for mk3 and give it a whirl-the seller seemed tidy.atb
