zini 1,939
Your playing mind games too Mr Chris . I know that your a very accomplished marksman as Ive read your posts, you little minx LOL . Ive got my beedie eyes on you lot LOL. I can see at this rate I'm going to have to leave the 97KT at home and shoot the HW100 S to stand any chance of not making myself look bad. . But then again if I was to shoot the .22 97KT and beat some of you with your pcps that would be really good. I mean do you really want to be beaten by a springer ? Ummm mind games mind games LOL. Si. Lol, I've got to play the grey man here si... I'm a accomplished marksman with the aid of a rangefinder! I honestly wouldn't worry about me being a contender to the title?Anyway just out of interest....... Who are the dark horses in the comp ? Apart from you si? Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Hi Chris, On a serious note pal there are so many great shots attending this meet its going to be a really good weekend of marksmanship and a real honour for me to be in the company of so many people at the standard that they are. I know what you mean about range finders. I struggle to hit anything without one past 35 metres, especially in .22. As I am one of the hosts of the meet and will be running and setting up things I have decided not to score in any of the comps. I will obviously compete as I like to compete and am very competitive as you can probably gather but my score will not count towards anything for obvious reasons. Regarding who I think is going to be a dark horses over the weekend. I can only really comment on the people who I have shot with or witnessed via video shoots and I would say. Davy without a shadow of a doubt if he decides to use his AA S410. One of the best marksman going I think will be Charlie (Light Hunter). I have never beaten him at HFT and always been pipped by 1 point each time when using a pcp, knocking me into second place about the 2 or 3 times I went down to Hold Down pursuits HFT course just for a friendly shoot and did well. Simon (Pianoman) will be a force for anyone either using pcp or springer if he is on his usual form. Ste (Wedge) will be one to watch for sure and I fancy him coming within the final top 3 somewhere. John (Wurtz) with his .22 ProSport is a very under rated and under sold shot believe you me pal and I see him scoring very high especially in the recoiling class giving Simon a good bit of comp. Yourself and Daz 7 could be up there too as both are grey men as you say. Emma (Snypercat) will be one to watch in the female class, but i hope and can see my Laura doing well in that class too. Its anyone's game really pal like i said all good shots. Si. Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
LOL Davy, I am taking part buddy but thought better not score myself. I'm going to use the .22 HW97KT just to give her a good run out and i want to try some other brands of pellet in her to to see if i can still improve on group size at longer ranges. That said I think it will be hard to improve on them Accupells as that accidental 40 metre group I shot the other day was pretty tight for that range and that type of rifle. Si. Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Been tweaking LJ's BSA Ultra this morning on the range ready for her trying the HFT course out on Sunday . The JSB Exacts at 4.53mm have arrived and they are landing pellet on pellet at 27 yards, with no extra card tear. Just got to teach her now how to range compensate on her own . Si. Quote Link to post
