2 nights worth here..Bulpa & Jess... and the reason being we left them in a little old country bus shelter to save travelling home from over the Border then went back got some more then collected the previous nights haul on the way home ...ATB Andy.

I remember a 'noted' author once dismissing my claim, that 'My Lurcher, paid the Mortgage'

 

The poor fool then went off, into a private world of algebraic equations and totally illogical conclusions.

These mostly revolved around, how many, suitable nights a lamping man would need to be out in,.and how many rabbits a dog would have to kill, in so many minutes, etc, etc...Truth was,.his clever sums left my head spinning,...and he almost convinced me, that I had been imagining, all those dark nights out...

 

The facts of the matter were,..(and he conveniently forgot my original statement),...that I certainly did live of my lurchers,..and,.. I never mentioned chasing poxy rabbits

He was maybe 24+ mate,great on rabbits and deer upto and including Fallow,wasn't worth a toss on foxes though
