What do vegans eat?

Recommended Posts

I know this sounds daft, but I can't think of many things a vegan can survive on. The biggest hurdle I have been struggling with for most of my life is what they put in their sandwiches, what is there apart from jam or salad? With no f*****g butter, that is the problem I am finding the challenge, no butter at all involved. I have never tried tofu, so maybe that can be made to taste like anything but I am still not picturing a enough to keep someone sane. :hmm:

Any guesses? Also, what is the best sandwich possible? I struggle to beat egg & bacon but hog roast is the best for me if that counts, bit of a gray area in to the burger sector there but I am going to judge it as fair, the rules will be strict on this one.

they should just round them all up and bung them in the middle of a rain forest for a few weeks, they'll realise them what a stupid f'ckin idea it is being a vegan. We're designed to eat these things FFS....it'd be like a rabbit deciding it wasn't going to eat grass/vegetables etc. What a stupid species humans are!

considering we're supposed to be the most intellegent species on the planet, we don't half do some daft things!

You raise an intelligent and deep question here, well played. How do we know that vegetables don't feel pain or get a bit sad when we eat them??

I have tried quorn, it really isn't for me but I have stomached a spicy veggie burger twice when there was nothing else but I don't really know what tofu is made of. I think it is made from soy beans or something else that requires a million acres of rainforest to be torn down to make room for. Once we stop cows from farting there won't be much of an argument for going veggie or vegan, but I appreciate that you need really passionate people to stand up for animal rights so farm animals get a decent life, I think that is really important.

best sarnie possible.....steak and onion with melted cheese on it

One day if you get the chance, buy a Phillie cheese steak sandwich from Philadelphia. It was the greasiest bugger I have ever eaten by bloody hell it was good...you might have a winner here if it passes the burger rule.

Yes, it has passed well done steak sandwich is currently position #1
