Lurchers and feather

Have a pup an also have a few quail and chooks aswell as me father keeping pigeons. Is there a way to have her sound with them and still retrieve birds when shot?

chastise for one and reward for the other, they are smart enough to learn the difference .

All my dog's are broke to my own livestock be it ferret/hawk/chicken's and quail just use a simple no command when ever the pup interested..they sharp get to know what they can and cannot chase..

They soon learn 'places' they are not allowed to kill rather than species if you get my drift.

That makes sense Moll. My dogs aren't overly fond of cats, but they won't touch the wife's one about the house or in the garden. They'd still chase him if they came across him anywhere else though..

Mine regularly run through free range chickens, ducks and geese but will take a phezzie (Whin speak) whenever they can. Wouldn't trust them with the chooks if I wasn't there mind.

Have you been away in a young offenders centre Dances? You haven't posted much recently :whistling:

Aye, break them in now and it'll be good practice for when your balls finally drop and you've got kids about the place with pet rabbits, etc!:thumbs:

I got a kid malt and she loves the birds that's why I want the pup broke
