the_stig 6,614
doin the same next year -- i`m just gonna crack on with if you dont try it you`ll never know.. mines more of an early semi retirement near to the coast so i can do some sea fishing .. i aint got to make a living out of once place i could live anywhr so thats not really a worry for me .. That's what I'm trying for semi retirement no mortgage !!!! But it's a big move ! if you`ve got to get a job then that could be a problem --- i do the antique fairs so its just a matter of loading op my van one of the big things for me is the house prices are so much cheaper -- my brother moved out to spain a few year back to run his own bar -- he says he`ll never come back its 2 hrs away on a plane from family.. No hopefully won't have to work just do bits & pieces . That's the reason for the move cheap house !!!! lifes to short if you can make life easier and free up some time to do more of what you want / enjoy -- my view is crack on ..

Ideation 8,217
I've done it a few times, and funnily enough i've ended up back where i was born. But In the past i've been known to be impulsive, and have suddenly fecked off to live in Czech Republic, then suddenly fecked off to live in Scotland, then fecked it off to live in Hungary, another sudden move to Slovakia, and a final random impulse back to Wales. With various shorter term stays in between and lot of travelling. It's always worked out, and if it don't justfeck off somewhere else again, i was lucky at the time though, no responsibilities. Ideation 8,217
i live near the forest of dean, it's a beautiful place, some of the locals are a bit special though. Plenty of wildlife and wild space. The bear refers to a bit of local history, a bear was killed, but who killed the bear?
