Simoman 110
Just out of curiosity why would an owner of a "big name" lurcher be interested in allowing their dog to line your unknown bitch? Surely when you find your chosen stud you can then ask all your questions? Quote Link to post

newcomer88 86
Was just curious that's all , and when the time comes I would like to use a sensible dog , over my "unknown bitch" she runs well for me and when I choose to line her I would like the pup to hopefully be better therefore by using a top dog may get that , I tend to see the same names popping up so I thought the term "big name" seemed apt . And when you say would they let you most would for a price , which for the right dog I would be willing to pay . That's why I thought I would start a thread to get some opinions Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
You say "most would for a price"... Sorry to pi55 on your bonfire but no they wouldn't. The best dogs in the country are probably unknown to most, if they are on here they won't be boasting about it that's for sure. And money doesn't matter to most dog lads. I know if I had a "big name" dog then he wouldnt be going over just any bitch for any amount. If your happy with your bitch when the time comes to wanting a pup then look locally for a well worked dog with the attributes you want and don't worry about names. Hope this helps, Gaz 2 Quote Link to post
