Cheers bud I know over 100 means a ban but it's 2 mph if I can prove the gun to be innacurate I'm going to ring cheshire constbulary for the calibrations I've been told they need calibrating everyday

Idiot.   The actual speed has no reflection on safety, It is the speed in relation to the conditions. 30mph in a 50 zone round a wet roundabout may be unsafe and even stupid and reckless . Whereas 1

Over 100 can mean a straight ban. Take it to court. A decent solicitor should be able to argue the toss over the accuracy of the laser.

over 70s speeding so is it worth taking it to court -- without testing the gun that was used hard to prove otherwise . i`d be trying to figure out who out the 2 of you can stand the points or a possible ban if thats the case ..in court you dont get much of a chance to explain -- guilty or not guilty is all you get plead not guilty and they can just go off the evidence ... speak to a soliciter see what they say cost my mate 500 quid to prove he was`nt using his moblie ... If it was a mobile speed gun ask to see the calibration history, they are notoriously innacurate. good luck.

Edited to add, it must have been calibrated on the day to get a conviction.

If you was doing that speed you deserve to be banned as only a retard would risk not only his life but the life of his passenger and any one else on the motorway at that time .
