Lab 10,979
My neighbours used to have a wee terrier called Cleo and it used to come with me when i went shooting rabbits with the .22. This is about 15-20 years ago now like. It was steady until you pulled the trigger and then it was off like a bullet, so if you missed you were not getting another shot.... But misses were few and far between cause i wasn't shooting them at long distances and she did manage to grab a few that were trying to jump down there warrens when they had been hit.... johnharris 177
The first dog I ever owned was a collie x spaniel and it was her that got me into rabbiting, I was 10 yrs old, she was a brilliant dog in the bush and very good to listen. Quote Link to post

poacher3161 1,766
A very well kept looked after dog by the looks of it.A cross of this breeding was one of the best bushing dogs i have ever seen some years ago then again watching my mates young springer x whippet going in thick cover to find rabbits i am convinced that you could cross a springer to most other dogs with in reason and get some thing that will hunt cover. 1 Quote Link to post
