Malt 379
Bits and pieces. Me and the wife took lessons for a year but had to stop when we moved 2 years ago. My kids can talk a fair bit, they teach it to the kids here in most schools these days, but they never taught a single word of it to me in primary school. b*****ds taught me French instead, but ce'st la vie I suppose! Malt 379
Plenty of first language welsh speakers in wales including myself, some school's teach all subjects in welsh. That's true enough, the % of speakers is steadily growing too. Brilliant for a language that has been under heavy attack since the days of Henry VIII and beyond. They've been trying to wipe it out since the Romans yet it's still here. The remnants of a language that was once spoken all over the mainland in one form or another.
