If you are talking about Flapping TRACKS; then, yes there are pleanty about. They are simply Greyhound racing tracks that are NOT affiliated to the NGRC. Very easy to look up on the 'net

Wouldn't say there are plenty about charts, certainly nowhere near as many as there used to be. I think there's

ten flaps still on the go in the whole of Britain yet a few years back we had more than that in Scotland.

yes have googled them but dont know if they have to be ped,my nearest one is askern but thats all i found out so far

Depends what part of the country you live....theres none in or around London that i do know.....plenty of registered dogs run at flapping tracks and prize money has gone up over the years i know they never used to have vets at trackside but i think they have to now,i suppose like most things money is an issue even having a vet in attendance for 3 or 4 hours twice a week is not cheap im not sure who foots the bill for that either.

Of course there isn't as many as there used to be, but we still have a few up here, Cambois, Easington, etc. If you want to flap a Greyhound, there is still the tracks to do it !

Im not 100% but i dont think you can.....i know most of them used to do a " lurcher night " or even a " terrier night " on the odd occcasion....say first Monday of the month or something similar.......id guess its still the same.

Just a little note on this type of track, Westaughton is due to open again soon. These tracks are getting few an far between, give 'em your support and get down there every so often.

As I said Charts there are still some tracks about but there's not plenty of them. I ran dogs on the flaps for over 20 years and enjoyed it but as the number of tracks decreased the game got harder and certainly wasn't as enjoyable. The number of bookies standing at tracks decreased as did the prices they were offering yet the price of a decent dog went up as did feeding costs, travelling costs and entry money etc. To be honest the best years of flapping are long gone, the last dog I ran was over three years ago and everyone said I'd miss it and be back but no, I've never thought about starting up again.
