Hello folks,

I've been looking for full time for work for a couple of months now, I work part time (Weekends) but I need more money coming in and something to take up my time.

I was wondering if anybody local to me is in a position to offer me an opportunity to earn a wage labouring on a farm/land.

I'll be honest, I don't have any experience in this line of work. I am, however, extremely hard working and a fast learner. I don't mind hard graft for long hours, I don't mind bearing harsh weather and I don't mind working for minimum wage as I think it'd be a rewarding job, Id prefer to get paid less to do a job I'd enjoy more.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking at this as a last resort. It's more of a new idea, something I haven't thought about before. It's something I'm very interested in though, and I'd love to be able to pick up new skills as I worked.

If anybody can help, or can even point me in the right direction I'd be really grateful.

Regards,

Blainy.

Have a look in the farmers gaurdian, often jobs advertised. Even if you dont think you would get an advertised job apply and explain what you have said here. Also just ask door to door at farms, many farmers i know take lads on who have just called in. Lambing is just about to start and there will be jobs about.
