undisputed 1,664
Wont make a blind bit of difference to the anti's mate but well done....the anti's opposition to fieldsports isn't based on logical arguements it's based on ignorance and tugging on the heart strrings of people that are addicted to Disney cartoons and Farling wood. spade 224
Is that the Meynall? If only the hunts/working dog clubs got more recognition cos there are quite a few that donate thousands to charity over the years. Obviously not as sensational as pack of hunting dogs ripping defenceless animals to pieces to satisfy the bloodlust blah blah.
johnnylestershair 78
i yes it is the meynell mate i was just saying about hunting people i hunt with my lurcher i no how much lurcher men and women donate to charity i was doing the shows years ago this is not about hunting with hounds or a lurcher it is about the good people that we have in hunting and how they care about others so dont lets turn this in to a agrument because the antis will love that
spade 224
Not trying for an argument, just trying to say the media always look for the sensational angle (in just about everything). If there's a good news story it would be overlooked in favour of some "juicy story" that might sell a few more papers or whatever. The old saying is no news is good news, well it could easily be turned round to say goods news is no news. Whether it be a hunt a lurcher/terrier club a shoot, they all do their bit to help those who are a less fortunate.
lurcher330 2,301
A mate of mine runs a Terrier and Lurcher show every year in aid of Temple Street Children's Hospital ,Dublin and last year it raised over 2000euro that would of been put to great uses ,but do you think it would of being giving any credit by the media or anything but if there is a sponsered dog walk for the D.S.P.C.A or support needed for the I.C.A.B.S it would be all over the media Edited February 21, 2012 by lurcher330
johnnylestershair 78
i think we should make the media listen to us not by violents but buy saying to the papers we want to show people what we do for people in need of help thats what papers are for to print stories about life and the people who care thank you for your post lads
staffs riffraff 1,068
Them people aren't bothered about what we do for kids or people in need if they had the choice of saving a kid or animal from suffering I bet a large proportion would choose the animal to be saved but any open minded person would take the child every time. How much suffering and misery are kids even in this country suffering today and the amount of energy time and resources these antis put in to stopping something man was born to do instead of helping people worse off than themselves. Sad sad people they are. Well done that hunt keep up the good work
