My first fox!

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

having lost 14 hens over the last months i though it best to fight back. so after some months getting used to my gun i finally took the kind advice of rich and baited an area 60 yards away from my house in my field.

so i'm in my slippers tonight walking toward my lounge and and take a look out the door window with my gen 1 nv. there i saw a pair of eyes on a little wall next to my decking,

i then saw the eyes disapear within a second as he spots me and i though that might be a fox. then i kept still and look around and there i could see my little cat sat on the edge of the decking. oh god was this visitor wanting to take my cat in this cold snowly weather? well maybe maybe not so i suited up and walked outside my kicthen door and saw him near my baited area in the field. it was 65 yards and a standing shot leaning on the house wall with my new .22lr using eley subs.

1 shot later and i had a fox drop on the spot.
