lksopener 105
Lads are right don't think because they are small a little hutch will do. They like lots of space to be active so build/buy as bigger shed as you can afford. They will pay you back many times over. Liam Quote Link to post

Mine are in a shed now but what I used to do was get hold of 4 old doors, cut one in half. Then use one for the base, one for the back, one for the lid (using its hinges on the back one, then use the ones cut in half as the sides. with a rough frame on the front so you could put mesh on it and then felt on the top lid one. Also put some varnish on the wood. Did this a couple of times growing up and got the best part of 10 years use out of each one and they end up with plenty of space for 2-3 ferrets Quote Link to post

Hey Milo, Now you have a ferret, your hawking will get so so much better mate! Especially your Rabbit numbers. I know the books suggest light coloured (albino) ferrets for hawking due to the colour of them being like nothing else they may hunt... But if the hawk is gotten used to the ferret & see's it enough & worked over it enough, i.e, ferret down the hole & out pops a rabbit, then it will quickly learn that the ferret is part of the hunting team & not to be hunted! Happy hunting. Will Quote Link to post
stroller 341
i have a 3 tiered hutch 6 foot high 6 foot long and 2 foot wide, put loads of stuff they can climb over climb through and crawl up. Draught proof nest box and the whole thing should be escape proof if there is a hole they will find it. Quote Link to post
