Aaron_butcher 17
I've put up a few topics recently regarding breeding my dog but after alot of thought have decided against it due to lack of time, money and patience. I've been scowering the internet in the search for a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie or similar but every dog seems to have bull in it. Not slating bull I just don't want any in my dog. So does anybody know of any collie X puppies going in the south east of england? I am willing to travel for the right dog. Thought about going up to see Mr Hancock but I'm not paying that kind money for a dog. Thanks, Aaron. Quote Link to post
sowhat 1,572
Good luck in finding a pup Breeding is hard work, you do need time, patience and money but it's very rewarding, also you must have good homes lined up for the puppies. Sounds like you've made a wise decision Quote Link to post
darbo 4,776
not a cross you see for sale as much as there used to be apart from the obvious hancock. i like the cross a great deal. can make good dogs.in general easy going easy to train dogs. good luck with your search. Big Jim101 29
i would also be interested in a dog of similar breeding in the next few months. maybe crossed back to a whippet instead of a gh? Quote Link to post
tia.kins 56
Hasn't tiny 7 got a litter of pups with about a 1/4 collie in them? Quote Link to post
thorny 100
This is also the type of pup I have just started My search for, I am also down in the south east, so any information on up and coming litters would be gratefully received. I already own a Hancock dog. He is a nice steady dog and gets on with what I want him to, but this time I would prefer worker to worker breeding, but as said they are as rare as hens teethe. Perhaps why Hancock keeps going Quote Link to post

Mickey Finn 3,014
not forgetting ive got to drive there. i dont like the idea of puppy farming anyway. Hi Aaron, not to beat a dead horse. But, I know what people have said about hancock's operation. Mine, (3/4 grey-1/4 Collie) showed up in good shape. He's doing well, and growing into a fine strong animal, He's friendly, with nerves of steel. I think it was money well spent. ATB Quote Link to post
Brimmer 220
Shame you dont live up north Aaron, still a few good collie crosses around where i live, dont know of any litters though. Quote Link to post
Aaron_butcher 17
All over the freeads, preloved, epupz etc it all seems to be bull crosses with the odd saluki cross. seems nobody breeds rabbit dogs anymore Quote Link to post
