Strange Things Down Rabbit Holes

Recommended Posts

Out ferreting today and had to dig to ferret.

When i broke through i was suprised to find a hedgehog.

I have been ferreting for over 30 years and this is the first time i have ever found an hedgehog in a set.

When touched it made a high pitched shriek.

rats, duck, 5 pound note, an old axe head, stoats, a squirell, walking throo a wood 1 nite onmy permission, was a full moon, lurcher took off along the edge of the wood an i thought she had put a roe up, followed her an she had a netted bunny in her mouth holding it over a hole, dispatched the bunny an had a look about an there was another 6 nets set :icon_eek: picked up nets, hung them on a tree with the bunny an blocked all holes incase there was a ferret in there, went home, got back there next morning, nets still on tree an bunny still hanging next to them checked the warren with a locator an sat about for a few hours trying to entice the ferret out with the bunny, but never actually seen a ferret :icon_eek: its a little wood an surrounded by a private estate, an nobody knows who the nets belonged to....
