In my opinion when the ban came in on all the dangerous dogs, the big downside to that was that instead of the bull breeds being kept by (mostly) reputable dog men that bred for a purpose, didn't tole

mines a right dope hes laid back great companion well behaved ,obediant and suprising for me great with little dogs they are however well in my dogs case very sensitive he likes to please mines not th

Its the way you bring them up mate as long as you socialise with other dogs & people you won't have a problem its down the owner how you bring your dogs up,how its trained & worked atb cbx

They all different in my eyes I've got 3 they soft as owt on their own. Boystrous when they get together. Pick a fight wi each other or any others they will get stuck in. It depends how they brought up I rec. then again the bull is always there an you have to remember that!

As said all are different the 1 i had was fine indoors but as soon as he was hunting he found it hard not to tear the quarry up, he was 1st X bull grey so think he took on more bull at times

So you think that's why people say 1/4 is enough bull

My 1/2 x 1st gen is just as bad as my 3/8 5/8's it's all in the mind of the dog If y

all differ in ways of focus and temperament but in all cases the bull x is a strong gene strain.its always been added into most hunting bred dogs to add size and strength and as a few lads will tell you its been added to track dogs to make amazing 1st cross bull greyhound lurchers  ....it takes a good dog and makes it stronger and a bit keener if this was lacking in the breed you already had. ..ideal for any lurcher owners wanting to add more build and attitude into the offspring...lovely with kids and mines in the house at all times.very loyall like all lurcher types and just that bit headstrong when worked with other dogs as they all want to better than the other dogs............my hints are to cross with a track greyhound maybe or collie/deerhound grey/salkuki cross greyhound or something else with pace and stamina to keep the pups lighter depending on the quarry its worked on-1st bull crosses always sway to the bull makeup ie.strong jaw and muscular body and legs but 2nd 3rd and 4th crosses are more sighthound shaped but keep the drive and mindset of the bull..(very keen and strong preydrive)..rabbits and rats are legal quarry but for something that'll bite back id pick a bull cross every time....

mines a right dope hes laid back great companion well behaved ,obediant and suprising for me great with little dogs they are however well in my dogs case very sensitive he likes to please mines not the type of dog to shout and scream at.Theres a small terrier around here thats always having a go at him and he doesn't bother saying that a lab piled into when he was a pup and My dog flipped literally like a switch went on and lets say my dog got the upper hand. But out working hes great to be with laid back and a pleasure to own .But imo you have to keep an eye on them they can just take a dislike to a certain dog so better safe than sorry

Its all down to the way you bring them up i trust mine 100% with people and dogs They ant guard dogs In all the years Ive had them only had one that would bite or threaten any one that came in the yard and i put that down to protecting the man child he doted on him Now when i run them all its a different matter for a strange dog . But then i could put a strange dog in the back off the motor and not one would kick off with it

all 3 of mine are very good with my kids and other dogs, they are also good with people when out but if a stranger go's into my yard they all go sick trying to get out of there runs they have never had the chance to bite anyone in my yard but i dont dout for a second the would witch is mad as they dont bat an eye when out for walks and will let anyone come over to me. i trust mine completly with my kids(well as much as you can trust any dog with kids)

then there is my other one he dont like dogs he dont know he is no good round my kids and and will fight any dog that tryes to domenate him he is a total pain in the ass but he is shaping up to be a good worker

I have a 3/8 5/8, he is now 4 years old and still as mad as a pup. He's great with people and other dogs but that's how I trained him

My only problem with the dog is is over excitement when on the lamp real game keen to go pulling on the lead. This is the drive I guess. Secondly he's a moaning b*****d if let in the motor he will winge n squeak is this common of

The bull trait I've been told previous it is ?? Or is my dog just a wimp :)
