stripes 401
youre best way monkeyjax would be to go out with a group in your area that hunt rats,, theres bound to be a pack in or near yorkshire. Try a live rat cage if you see any signs of rats,, bait with dog food, hope this helps. Quote Link to post

buster gonads 862
In the right place i would think you,ll have more trouble stopping him than starting him . Quote Link to post
the_stig 6,614
get yourself out whr thrs rats .. if you can find rat holes close some of the bolt holes and dig a trench from the hole you`ve left open -- just keep turning the soil you`ll find em just from the smell and you digging the dog should be interested -- its sometimes better to enter a dog to dug rats than any thats running about i`ve introduced loads of dogs this way if the dogs keen it`ll be waiting every turn of your spade ... once you`ve got him keen it should`nt be a problem .. the best way to find out is get out and try .. 1 Quote Link to post

j1985 1,984
I was once biking my 90lb American bulldog bitch down a alley way when a rat ran across the path!! I ended up being pretty much torn from my bike and flying into a bramble bush...I no longer hold dog leads so tight lol Quote Link to post
