ufc lesnar vs wolverine

Recommended Posts

Lesner had "i quit" written all over him, he retired after that fight and he should of, maybe its his illness but he has shown a definate lack of heart.....Biggest upset for me was Jon Fitch getting knocked out after 12 seconds...

He just stood there waiting to get hurt and take a pay day, he went down quicker than Thai ladyboy..............

He looked a beaten man from the start, he obviously didn't have his heart in it! I don't know what tactics they had before the fight but I bet it wasn't just to stand there and let overeem dominate the stand up. Still overeem vs dos santos should be a better fight!

Yep Brock was beat from the start defo psychological with the illness plus he not really got the " im gonna win no matter how hard you hit me" attitude shame though as maybe if he was into real contact sport not wrestling from an early age he could of been awesome as illness aside he is a freak of an athlete. Did anyone ever see Marius pudzianowski first fight think against Tim Silvia lol that's a 5 time world strongest man just goes to show you can't beat trained athletes at there sport easily

I saw that marius fight, as you say, as strong as an ox, but its a different kettle of fish when someone is stood in front of you trying to knock your heed clean off. Same as a fighter hitting a bag, I could look good hitting a bag cos the bags not trying to hit me back...... you can work the rest out for yourselves :icon_redface:

yes marius is a fantastic athlethe savage power big difference in deadlifting cars and loading bags then have a trained guy try to knock u out or break a limb different ball game i follow strongman and mma and respect both sports but its very rare to see a cross over tat works

If im not wrong Pudzianowski was a decent amateur boxer so he was no stranger to combat.......but a guy that heavily muscled has probably around 1 minute of hard action before lactic acid gets the better of him then his size will immediately start to work against him so that fight was no surprise to me.

Lesnar.....i never understand why a guy like that doesnt make use of what he has......Lesnar is a huge powerful and explosive athlete who could overwhelm near any man put in front of him during the first round of a fight......why he would choose to stand back and try to exchange punches/kicks with a naturally good striker i dont know......he went against the golden rule of any fight which is make the most of what you have and do what your good at.

Certainly not world level but id say Ollie Thompson go,s against that theory.....national level mma just signed with the ufc and former Britains Strongest man.
