SINDASOX 256
I've read a few posts here and there that Mick Dadd services and repairs the old style ferret boxes, just wondering has anyone ever had any repairs done or had their box serviced by him, my box is working, but what i have found recently (when i tested it)....is that it is not an accurate reading, for example if i've got it set on the box at 2ft, the collar is 3ft away so it's a foot out, can you still get the dials to stick onto the wheel. TOMO 27,425
i just had one done by mik,, cost me £20 wich i thought was cheap, bearing in mind deban servicing was £50... mine might of been a mates rate though, as i know mik,,, mine came back a little difrent though,,, ile try to explain,, instead of the little wheele on the side with the depth gadge,,, mine has a knob on the other end , the sort you would find on an old radio..... and where the wheele was the little slot is filled in to stop dirt getting in. also the new diel thing didnt have, any depth markings on it,, so i had to scratch them on my self.,, from my description it all sounds abit odd i know..........but the locator now works well ... of course that may have been the only way mine could have been fixed,, maybe others might still retain the normal wheele.
