LolaPat 49
How many lads take a working dog to the pub. My hunting life started in the pub with a few lads that take dogs to the pub. Just wondering if this happened to you or you gained people to your clan fron this.

LolaPat 49
I take my terrier every friday and met people to work her from it. I've been hunting for around 4-5 years and finally got a dog for earthwork last year and since then I've been on the up. Unexpected places and people has gone on the up for me. keepitcovert 842
Pub i use doesnt mind dogs, god help the place if they banned them . I take my two lurchers in. my mate takes his lurcher and whippet in, various assortment of other dogs make an appearance. We keep the old guys supplied with rabbits and pheasants. Ive picked up some decent permission in pubs, theres no music in the place just the sound of dominoes being shuffled, and decent intelligent banter, and the usual pisstakes, also real ale, a proper pub as pubs used to be and nearly always busy, thats a rarity these days. Hope that part of our culture doesent get eroded like so many other things have. YIS KIC.
