pre ban we used to hunt them most wk ends terriers loved them

Thanks, I would say for the terrier the hardest part of that paticular hunt was getting the minks location pinned down...Once he was able to get his teeth on the mink, it was game over...

 

I've never dug to fox, but hope to...I want to see how they stack up compared to a large coon ( thirty-ish lbs )... ATB

yeh i agree i loved it with the hounds walking through the rivers,half way through having break at the top of river bank two of the whippers sneaked over and pulled my mate in to river by his legs oh what a great day on dove that was

we all know the ban is stupid but the inclusion of mink in the ban takes that stupidity to a whole new level IMO, not just killing some native species, it's decimating them, and the fukkin government protects it to a certain degree by including it in the ban, insane!
