NEWKID 29,096
I like the post on the christmas tree for trafalgar square coming from Norway, but it made me a little gutted. This year for the first time ( what I can remember) there will be no christmas lights in the city centre ( Exeter), not a big thing in the grand scheme of things I know, but still a bit sad. The kids like going up to watch the fire works and some Z lister hitting the button. I know christmas is a bit of a commercial rip off, but when you got young kids you've got to play the game and make it exiting, our city centre gonna look pretty crap this christmas..... NEWKID 29,096
Cheers for the repies lads. Wilf : I agree exeter's worse than a piss hole, but it aint a bad part of the world to live in Scot : loads of fire work displays on nov 5th, but they used to do a big display off the top of debenhams when they turned the christmas lights on, F*ck all this year though Littlefish: Normally there's a christmas tree, don't know this year think tere's no money in the kitty, the goverments got beter things to spend it's money on Long tail: Forget the posh areas mate the council estates are the best place for decent decorations, most of the families are skint but their houses look like santas grotto on acid.
