chilly 59
hi , ive been feeding the pup on chudlys mixed with fresh meat for past 10 months ,and she is doing vary well on it , pupy to start with then the junior then classic , went out yesterday and got a new sack but got the worker mix , which has a higher protein content when i got it home and opened it up i realised that there is what looks like rolled oats mixed in with the biscuit, so im am just wondering if any one else uses this and how they find their dogs do on it, im not really expecting there to be any real huge difference , pritty confident that the brand seems to be good quality but just thought i would ask , thanks

trenchfoot 4,243
Try the working crunch. Normal kibble and my lurchers do fine on it. Sends the collie round the twist though!
chilly 59
Lol my first thought was should I put some milk over it and serve with a spone lol Well I'll use it up now , may go back the classic or maybe try the crunch , in all fairness tho been quite happy with the brand so far Think the classic is 19% and worker is 25 maybe 22% protein of the top of my head
davey 310
I use original chutlys and add meat threw week I'm happy with good product
IN SLIPS 134
fed working mix through winter for alot of years now with success. also mix chicken in every day but my dogs get plenty of work so they need the extra protein where as if your dogs are not doing alot of work you will be better using original or classic when mixing meat. all of the chudleys foods seem to be as good as each other but its just which you prefer. samba 534
i feed chudleys greyhound 12,50 sack find it ok
chilly 59
Well I'll see how I go with this now, don't suppose the fibre and all the rest that's in the oats will do any harm prob good for the dog, and the protein content it is high so should be fine, and Igive meat ever day
undisputed 1,664
Only use high protein if you work the dog hard. I use chudley's greyhound mix dogs love it. These feeds are complete so you really don't need to add anything else just make sure they have plenty to drink. Edited November 11, 2011 by undisputed
