hairyface 211
its 21 for what was once called class 2(any number of axles as long as its not articulated) and class1(articulated) if you get your class1 you can drive everything, as far as im still aware you qualify to drive a 7.5tonner when you pass your car test, if thats change in recent years it will only be a theory test that has to be taken with revelent 7.5 tonner related questions, but there deffo isnt a driveing test for 7.5tonners, if in doubt mate give the d.v.l.a. a ring...cheers hairyface

Rabbithunter 456
94.........because by the time you have made up your mind what you want to do for a job, thats how old you will be there is two jobs around the area with scaffolding firms, that would take me on if i had the 7.5ton licence. I told them my age and never mentioned restrictions, but i have heard all sorts, 18, 21, 25.......
jacob 28
if you passed your test before 1998 you should have cat.c1 on your license which means you can drive 7.5 tonners if you passed after that you need to take a test, and check with the employer if the vehicle has old tacho or new digicard, which is another 40 quid for the card from d.v.l.a
