I think the more you can get out of your terrier the better, i think ratting is one of the best bits of sport available, i used to enjoy bushing but now im older i am more pesamisstic and when a terrier is bushing all i can think of is "will it drop to ground" "will it get lost" etc etc etc

I will let my ground terriers do a bit of bushing but only 1 at a time and they will have the collar on and with a bit of luck they will drop to ground ,but i have a couple of terriers there for soley bushing when i work them with the whippets and they have dropped the odd time but they never stay too long they are only rabbit terriers and they are worth their weight in gold for what i do with them
