strong stuff slip works well, rachet cord works well and the horse lunge lead also works well...and if all els fails...good old blue rope. and if u lose that...good old cut the hand, bialing twine!! n

my kids bought me 1 for fathers day last year it was 60 quid and its only been used once i prefer to just use a normal dog lead with the buckle cut off the bottom

peace of rope ? best slip you will ever own

piece of webbing strap with the ends burnt , and a loop knotted one end for my wrist.

yer i use the same in stead of burning the end i get a normal nylon lead cut the stitching open that goes round yer hand keep the clip on the other end so then you can loop it through the collar then when youve finished you can clip it back on the coller .

get your self a horse lead they are 6ft long an made of english leather, very soft an if chased the dog wont be under your feet when running. just bought one of ebay for £16 an they will last alot longer then the dog

what do you do with excess lead when out lamping ,do you wrap the 4 foot leather round your hand ? or let the dog take the full 6ft of lead and slip like that
