JohnGalway 1,043
only from the road john 100 m i think it is , you can lamp from the car not shoot , but if you driving across the land you fine ,,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! go on tell me i am wrong lol Ok, you're wrong (Seriously) Edited to add: OK, I have trawled that other favorite haunt of yours and here is the boring part... http://www.irishstat...0036.html#sec36 If you look at 36 (a) it does say "protected wild animal"...... But....... That phrase "protected wild animal" was amended below to read "wild animal", see 44 (a) (ii) http://www.irishstat...0044.html#sec44 Now what does that mean practically? Well, not a lot perhaps. It's highly unlikely that "Joe" or whomever buys Joes creation will be done for using it as it is supposed to be used. But there's always the chance that maybe Joe or whomever has an enemy who'll report him, or that Joe or whomever will meet or be met by some lad or lady in uniform wanting to move up the ladder. In that case, Joe is in hot water. Do I agree with it? No, not at all. But that's how it is I'm afraid. There's also been a question raised on the legality of shining a light from a vehicle, for the purpose of hunting entirely, but as far as I know that's not been definitively answered yet. And yup, I know what the NARGC say about it
sounder 9
your never wrong john lol so a terrierman can't use a quad with terrier boxes on it as it only says hunt NOT SHOOT !!! ATB SOUNDER
JohnGalway 1,043
Lol, never he sez... Not sure how ye lads use terriers, but up here I've yet to see anyone drive them down the hole on a quad I'd say you'd just be transporting them in that case, not actively hunting, no more than a dog in a jeep on the way somewhere.
