duffus traps

looking to buy some duffus mole traps where do you buy yours from, can buy cheap ones from primrose are they any good any info appreciated.

Hello Collieman, Ive noticed for a good while on here now,that alot are shouting about the ' FLAT PACK ' tunnel traps.Fair enough , and each to their own, but i much prefer the duffus made by the ' BETHEL RHODES ' company.A well made british trap,quality materials ,and have served me very well over the years.

Bethel Rhodes are cheaper I think @t £2.75 each plus VAT. Flat Pack do 10 @ £39.10 inc VAT. Delivery charges for both though.

thanks for that info stephen your spot on with your prices think I will get some from bethel rhodes look good strong traps on there web site

The Bethel Rhodes traps need to be tuned before use. You can use flat packs straight out ot the box.

they both need adjusting to get them working properly, i have used both and prefer the bethel rhodes trap , the flat pack is a well made trap but rusts in no time at all , it has a stronger spring initially but the spring weakens with use , tho not to the point that it isn,t strong enuff to kill a mole , don,t let price be the decider with traps , its false economy, you get what you pay for

R.Docks is not wrong about the Bethel Rhodes trap.I received only one Flat Pack trap as a sample,and like Moley, i discovered that i would still have to tamper with it a little.
