Rabbiting man 1,192
The Tosa varies considerably in size, with the japanese-bred dogs tending to be about half the size of those bred outside the country. The japanese breed generally weighs between & 120 pounds (36 & 54 kg). while the non-japanese breeders have focused on dogs that weigh from 130 to 200 lb (60 to 100kg) & stand 24.5 to 32 inches (62 to 82 cm) at the withers. The coat is characteized by its short & smooth apperaance & is often red, brindle, or fawn. Occasionally it can be a dull black, but this is somewhat rare. And it is still a fighting dog in japan today.

gnasher16 31,602
Fighting .....would you call that silly boys american wrestling fighting just because theres 2 men in a ring throwing each other about.....no. From my understanding these dogs " fight " more on a traditions/show basis than anything actually competetive....the rules and sheer size of the dogs go against everything a competetive " fight " should be in my opinion.

In japan from what i read they prefer the smaller ones ( -100lb) , but use the big ones just for the showbiz stuff .! but dont think nothing will beat a apbt pound for pound
