scothunter 12,609
You are spot on. The decision has been nothing but detrimental to the site. I understand why it was done...to boost numbers, but Im a firm believer in quality not quantity . Who wants to listen to 100,000 pricks talking shite? Not me. Would rather listen to one genuine guy who knows his stuff. FTB certainly has brought a lot of unwanted attention to the site.

Unwanted by you, but maybe not unwanted for all the advertisers which are on the site, which probably help out with the cost. & dont forget that anyone can join and see what you, me and uncle tom cobbley are posting. FightTheBan 1,147
Well that's all well and good for lining some ones pockets until all the genuine members are gone and you have no “hunting” life. Just a mediocre site full of halfwits and clowns. Get rid of the link. Nothing good can come of it. FTB
Kay 3,709
facebook only becomes relevent if you link the sites yourself, just alter the settings in your profile on here then any updates you do on facebook dont appear in the shout box on here , i am sure no one wanted to read about my apple pie having a soggy bottom on here , there again some of you might its simply if you have a facebook account & link this site to facebook , if you havent a facebook account then its not really an issue is it ? The fact is, if someone was really into hunting, and was online enough to be a member of facebook, they would have already heard of these hunting forums surely?? so linking it to facebook isn't going to attract any genuine hunters, it'll probably bring in hundreds of chavs and will no doubt fuel the 'my bullcross looks hard' trend! The hunting life has 1 page on fb, its not been active for weeks , if anyone posts anything on the page people who ticked the '' like it'' tag get updates of any new stuff posted on there, so in reality its pretty inactive , so that theory of yours cuts no ice
